1913 Hornell NY High School Postcard. A wonderful postcard showing the campus and buildings for the High School in Hornell New York. Sent from Hornell November 26, 1913. Neat American Flag Cancellation stamp on back. Stamp is gone, and took some of the paper on the back with it. A few creases, bottom right corner,
top left and right corner, some soiling, edge and corner wear. Still a nice card. 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches.

Early pin, unmarked, but I think it is probably gold filled. Early pin type clasp, great detail. So far I haven't been able to find out what this pin is for. I think it is Manchester New Hampshire, as it appears to have American flags flanking the shield. Says Manchester Cadets, what this was, I don't know, my thinking is possibly a Military Academy. Established 1873. has a Moon face symbol at the top. 7/8 inch tall.

Phi Gamma College Fraternity Patch. Older, Wool with felt backing. Well made,
well sewn. 6 1/2 x 5 inches. A few spots of moth damage, one of which can be
seen to the left of the Phi character,, but they really do not detract from the

Pottsville Tide megaphones. Plastic. One has a metal mouthpiece, the other
doesn't.. 7 1/4 tall, light wear. I think this was Pottsville High School,
Pennsylvania. They have some age to them, made in Memphis, Tenn. Yell-A-Phone.

"Smith College The Inauguration Of President Burton 1910" Marion LeRoy
Burton. A great little book. Lists delegates and where they came from, many from
other major universities. The inauguration took place October 5, 1910. Book was
published in 1911. Gives the ceremony procedures, and transcripts of the
speeches. This book was the property of Cora H. (Smithe)? who graduated in 1895.
Approx. 100 pages. Hand cut page edges. Some yellowing of the paper, some fading
of the cover and spine. Edge wear. Paper covers. All pages present and in good
shape, with the exception of a tear in page 8. 6 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches. Burton had
a PhD from Yale. He was later President of the University of Minnesota, and
later President of the University of Michigan. He gave Calvin Coolidge's
nominating speech in 1924. Died in 1925. $24.50 item #4328

Davidson College, Davidson, North Carolina charm. Such a tiny charm my camera
would not take a decent photo. Charm is much nicer than photo, but it is only
3/8 of an inch across. Made by Crest Craft, gold filled. Has the college motto,

Wonderful real photo postcard of a sharp looking group of young men. Looks like a college fraternity
or club. All nattily dressed. postcard is unsent, and
unfortunately doesn't say where it's from. Some fading, . I would say 1910-1920 era. Possibly slightly earlier. Light soiling, slight corner and edge wear. 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches.
