1917 New York Hunting and Trapping license badge button. This is the first year
that New York used a license badge, and I think this is the first hunting
license badge used by any state. It also is larger than any other license badge
I have seen, and further, it, and the 1918 NY badge are the only ones I
know of with a screwback clasp. On the edge Bastian Bros Co. Rochester, NY. In
1917 the fee for a hunting license was $1.10. Spots of foxing on the edge, a
few scratches, back has tarnished dark. A rare badge. 2 1/16 inches.
$175.00 item #5469
1925 New York Hunting & Trapping license pinback badge. Bastion Bros.
Rochester, NY. 1 1/2 inches. Foxing on the edges, and a large crack down
the center, several smaller cracks. $19.00 item #5472
Three plastic Tapawingo Trout Preserve pinbacks. Beautiful raised trout and
trout with creels. Unfortunately someone sanded the year off of each. So
each has a scratched spot where the year was. Otherwise light soiling and wear.
$12.50 for the three. Item #5617
1949 Pennsylvania Fishing License badge. Some light scratches, but overall a
nice badge. Has the union seal on the edge. A few tiny rust spots on the back.
Pin in good shape. 1 3/4 inches. $32.40 item #5625
Sterling silver Forest Turkey pin. I bought one of these for my collection years
ago. At the time I bought it I was told that these were given to folks invited
to hunt and the Norfolk & Southern, or Southern Railroad hunting preserve. I
do not know if that is the case or not. I do know this is only the second one I
have seen in 20+ years of collecting. Pin is 1 3/8 across, and the face, and
back are in good shape. The pin was in a case with some very badly deteriorated
foam, and this cause some of the foam to react, and harden, on the pin and
clasp. I think you could clean the rest of it off if you desired to do so.
Heavy, sterling silver. $135.00 item #5611
Quebec Canada 1957 Resident deer hunting paper license inside a Province

yellowed slightly. $28.50 item #5473

noticeable. 1 3/4 inches. $25.50 item #4346

1981 Nags Head Surf Fishing Club. Nags Head, North Carolina. This
tournament was by invitation only, so the pins are a bit hard to come by. Has rust stains showing through on the front, and rust on the
back. $8.00 Item #4909

Imperial Game & Fish Protective Association, Johnstown Pennsylvania. Good
for 25¢ in trade. Token, brass or bronze. A bit tarnished, and dirty, but
overall nice. 1 1/8 inch. You won't get the exact token in the picture,
but the one you will get will be in at least as good a condition. I have several
dozen of these. If you take 10 or more, I will take $9.00 apiece for them,
otherwise $10.50 for one. Item #1690
Two Cape May County, NJ Fishing tournament buttons. One celluloid on a metal
back, the other all metal. I do not know if these are from two different years,
or if the first badge is for entering the tournament, and the second for a prize
in the tournament. The first badge has a few light scratches, and some light
rust on the back. 1 3/4 inches. The second badge is dark, but in good shape.
Both badges $39.50 item #5334
