State Soldiers Home Hot Springs South Dakota Real Photo Postcard. Below
the State Soldiers Home sign it looks like a golf green, with some golfers on
it. I would say this card dates from the 1930s-1950s. 3 1/2 x 5 1/2. slight

Nice set of metal wings, blue enamel. With a TS. Made by Toye Co. London.
Netherlands Royal (Dutch) Naval Air Arm Wireless Operator/Air Gunner Wing
used during WWII. Made by Toye, Kenning and Spencer, London, after Holland
was overrun by the Germans. The Dutch had a whole series of these wings with
different letter designations for each postion in the plane. The T is for
Radioman and the S for gunner.....Telegrafie and Shutzen......or similar 2 1/2

1943 Folder of comic Army postcards. 18 comic images inside. Sent home by a
soldier from Camp Shelby Mississippi to his wife. Some writing, front and back

from a soldier from Maxton, North Carolina to a friend in 1943. Light soiling,

YMCA booklet, :France Our Ally" by B. Van Vorst. WW I 1918, inside it says
"A Brief account of France, its people, and their part in the War, with
special information for American soldiers". 44 pages of information on the
French people, French history, and more. Good condition with some light soiling.

Unique real photo postcard of a guy in his workshop with a cannon. Looks
homemade. On the back is stamped "taken sept 11 1915 Mr Pete Kredo?"
Postcard has a good bit of soiling, and edge damage and wear, some of the

German Patriotic postcard. Unusual in that is was printed in New York "Kriegskarten
Verlag, 128 Park Row, New York, Copyright 1914" Across the bottom "Lieb
Vaterland magst rubin sein". (Dear Homeland like a ruby?) Shows a German infantryman, sailor, and
cavalryman. Some soiling, creases and wear to the edges and corners. Before WW

Two real photo postcards. Shown in both photos is the same young soldier. In the
first postcard he seems to be cleaning his 1903 Springfield 30-06 rifle. I'm not
sure if the 89- CO on his T-shirt refers to 89th Company, or what. In the second
he is with an older soldier, from the hat, possibly a noncommissioned officer.
Both cards are unsent. 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches, some soiling, light corner &

G. I bought these photos out of an estate. It looks to me like this was an open
house at an airbase, or an airshow. 1950s. Each picture is 4 x 5 inches. Light
soiling, light creases. I will identify the aircraft in each picture as best I
can. A. C-54 Commando, B-57, what looks like a KC 97 (Freighter/tanker version
of the B-29), but blurry. B. B-57 Canberra. C. B-36, a rare bird in photos. D.

Two photos, the first shows an airman standing beside the tailgunner's position
of a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress bomber. Second photo shows the same airman
outside the door of the parachute shop. No location given. I assume this man
probably was a tailgunner. 2 1/4 x 3 inches. Some yellowing, light soiling,
paper on the back from having come out of a scrapbook. Light scratches. $12.50

Original Photograph of U.S. Lexington CVS-16. The CVS designation is for an
antisubmarine carrier, and was used after 1957 telling me this photo was from
after that year. The Lexington was built during WW II, but served the US navy up
until 1991. Today it is a museum ship. I assume this is from one of the bridge
lookout and signaling stations. I think the officer in the middle is probably
the captain. . Official navy photo as you can see from the stamp on the back
shown in the second photo. 5 x 7 inches. Good condition with just minor wear.

United States Air Force TAC Tactical Air Command F-105 tiebar. TAC took delivery
of the first squadron of F-105 Thunderchief fighter bombers. The Last Thuds were
taken out of service with the Air Force in the 1970s and early 1980s. 1 3/4

Great Curtis C-46 Commando lapel pin. The Commando was newer, faster, higher
flying and with greater range, and payload than the more famous C-47 not
nearly as many were produced. Principal use of the Commando was flying the hump
in the China Burma India theater of WW II. Screwback pin shows a plane with US

D. Sweetheart or Loved Ones military pillow covers. all satin, around 18 inches
square.. A. is post WW II, probably early 1950s. Is for a sweetheart, and is US
Navy Training Center Great lakes, Illinois with a poem. Has a seam separation,
bottom left. Some soiling and wear. Some fringe loss. B. US Army Camp Croft,
South Carolina sweetheart. Camp Croft was located near Spartanburg, SC and
operated from 1940-1946. Light wear, a couple of small holes, light soiling. C.
Army Air Base Richmond, Virginia. WW II, light soiling, some fading, couple of
very small holes. D. Camp Stewart, Georgia. WW II, Opened in 1940 as an anti
aircraft Artillery training center. Operated as such, and as a prisoner of war
camp until deactivated in 1945. later reopened and named Fort Stewart. Some
holes in the back, few small holes in front, light soiling. Dearest wife with
