5476scottytinya.jpg (46745 bytes) 5476scottytinyb.jpg (38629 bytes) Tiny little Scotty dog pin. These were from the 1940s from a salesman who used to set up at carnivals, shows, amusement parks and etc. Less than 1/2 an inch long. New old stock excellent condition. Very good detail for such a tiny little pin. Just the thing for folks who collect, train, or love Scotty dogs. I have several of these. $6.50 each Item #5476

5669mlkplaquea.jpg (73170 bytes) 5669mlkplaqueb.jpg (72582 bytes) 5669mlkplaquec.jpg (116880 bytes) 5669mlkplaqued.jpg (95284 bytes) 5669mlkplaquee.jpg (26376 bytes) Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. brass and bronze plaque. On the face it says "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 1929-1968 I Have a Dream" - On the back "Copyright 1968 Tiimberlake Trading Co. Greensboro, NC. Name and image of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. copyright Estate of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, All Rights reserved." also marked Korea where it was made. it appears to be made of two metals, brass on the outer edge, with a bronze center. Heavy due to the thicker bronze in the middle. Pierced for hanging. Right now it has string, I would replace that with wire. If you are looking at this wonderful plaque, then I am sure you are aware of just how central Reverend Dr. King was to the Civil Rights Movement, and probably know the text of the "I have a dream" speech better than I do. A great way to remember, commemorate, and celebrate the life of Dr. King in your home, church, or business, and make sure all remember him. 11 1/4 inches, a few light scratches, some light tarnish. Would polish beautifully if the owner chose to do so, at least the smooth portion, but I would let it age as the patina gives it dignity. $49.50 item #5669

Great proportions, great weaving of the splints, wonderful patina from age. The slats average around 5/8 of an inch. This superb little basket was purchased from a North Carolina estate, but I have no idea who made it, or where it was made. Looks very old, and has been used. paint drip on one side of handle and some on basket, they should be easy to clean off, very minor splitting around the nails and some splints, no breaks.
