Apparently these are all uniforms of units of the British Military that served In Fort Henry, Canada. Cards printed in Canada. Marked "Copy Fort Henry Management" Each card has a place on the back where something was pasted, maybe a stamp? It's removal has pulled up some of the paper on the back of each. Light soiling. Unsent. Six cards. Divided back. 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. $14.00 item #960

Katz did these with only a palette knife. The markings on the back of each card are shown in the last photograph, a picture of the artist and a description of his work. The paintings depicted include: Together, Love that is Gentle and Enduring, Missing you, Lake Geneva, Pears and peaches, Waterfall, The Lake, The House, Two Birch Trees, Cock Fight, Pan Am Olympics in Puerto Rico. Apparently Mr. Katz studio was in New York. Each card is 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 and they are in good condition. $16.50 item #971

Two are Dexter Press, four are Plastichrome by Colorpicture, one from Florida Natural Color. What a cute selection of playful kittens. All are 3/12 x 5 1/2 inches. Most show some edge and corner wear, but overall they are good. For the cat and kitten lovers in all of us! $9.50 item #981

01052cascadefalls.jpg (27542 bytes) No identification as to state. I found Cascade Falls in California, the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, and a Cascade Falls in Minnesotta. Could be others. looking at the picture makes me think out West. Oregon, or California, but i'm not sure. Caption on front: "Cascade Falls" . On back: "AZO" Unsent, undivided back. From the dates on the rest of the postcards i would think this one would be from 1905-1920, but it is undated. published by kawin & co. Chicago for H. Knox & Co. Canton. It has been written, and addressed, but never sent. Light soiling, normal corner and edge wear. 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. $4.50 item #1063

hh39.jpg (33346 bytes) Unfortunately no identification as to where this is. I bought it in a lot of postcards from the Gowanda New York area, so I expect it is from that region.
