think the Royal Rangers were a church affiliated scouting type organization but

appreciation for service to the Jamboree. Enamel on metal encased in lexan

1976 recruiting brochure, "Scouting Needs Men & Money!" Boy Scouts
of America. Recruiting Scout Leaders and soliciting donations. 10 pages. Done in
a cute way, the lower half of the body opens, revealing different uniforms and
clothes. Good condition, very light soiling and edge and corner wear. 4 x 9

Cub Scouts Strengthen The Arm Of Liberty Neckerchief Slide. A rare slide. 1950.
The Boy Scouts of America choose this as the theme for the 40th anniversary of
Scouting. As a service project scouts raised funds that commissioned
hundreds of 8 1/2 foot tall replicas of the Statue of Liberty to be given
to various towns, and etc. Some still exist today. The boy scouts got pins, the
cub scouts neckerchief slides. Copper plated or solid copper. Light wear and

1943 Handbook For Boys Boy Scouts of America. December 1943 printing of the 1943
edition. Hard to find as paper was restricted. Very unusual in that it is full
of ads, most of them patriotic. Very different than the pre war editions, and
most post war editions as things such as service to your country were further
emphasized. Norman Rockwell cover. 608 pages. 4 1/2 x 7 inches. Wear to cover,

Two photos of boy scouts at camp. Late 1920s? I do not know where this camp was
located, but the pictures came from the Erie PA region. Each picture is 2 3/4 x
4 5/8, both in good condition, with minor yellowing, edge and corner wear.

Gray Squirrel Patrol. Each member has signed his name. Dan Davis, Al Knight,
Ralph Mulino, C.E. Baker, O. T, Stanfield, Dellbert Hanks. These are a bit old
for scouts, I am thinking these are scoutmasters. They also appear in the photo
below. 8 x 10 inches. Probably New Jersey. Light soiling, light scratches,

I would guess these are district scoutmasters, or other scout leaders. (No
explanation for the Saint Bernard). All the names are on the back, including the
men in the photo above. Has a notary public seal in the bottom right corner from

1952 Senior Girl Scouting hardbound manual, cloth covers. It is unbelievable how
patronizing this book is as to the role of women. Full of advice on getting
ready for marriage, homemaking, being an "office girl" and etc. Some
staining on the back cover, and light soiling of cover and page edges. 216
pages. Some wear to edges and spine. Overall good. Illustrated. Has a woman's

Girl Scout calendars. B. 1957. C. 1959. Front and back
of each calendar shown. I have several of the 1957 Calendars, only one of the
1959 calendars. The last two
pictures show a sample picture and calendar pager. Each
month has a different picture showing Girl Scouts and Brownies doing activities.
8 1/2 x 10 closed, 17 x 10 inches open. All of the calendars are in good shape.
A few will show a slight bit of browning on the edges, and a few spots of
soiling from storage. The 1959 calendar has a few appointments filled

Two pieces of Boy Scout paper. The first is a 15 page pamphlet from 1948 titled
Realigned Basic Boy Scout Requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First
Class Ranks. Becomes mandatory January 1, 1950. 4 x 6 1/2 inches. The other is a
folded second class scoreboard to check off the requirements for Second Class
award. Probably about the same date. Has penciled in initials inside. 2 1/2 x 3
