First card: The Hall of Religion. Postcard actually mailed from the Fair. Sent June 20, 1934. Chicago, and has the World's Fair postmark. 1¢ World's Fair Stamp. Message written on the card says the person sending it was enjoying the fair. Marked on back "Chicago World's Fair, 1933 Arena Photo Post Card Co., Chicago". Also some printed information on the Hall of Religion. Second card: "Avenue of Flags" Official post card. Marked on back "American Colortype Company, Chicago-New York. Printed in U.S.A. No. 129". Also has a description of the Avenue. Divided back. Unsent. Light soiling and edge wear. 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. $9.50 item #918

   What this little book was is a giveaway item from the E:I; DuPont company exhibit at the 1939 World's Fair in New York. Apparently one of DuPont's divisions made Fabrikoid book binding material, for the cloth covers of the book.  that information is printed on the title page, and in the introduction. My School Books is the title of the "unpublished Autobiography of Hendrik Willem Van Loon" Really just a short story, the book is only 24 pages. Cloth covers. Some soiling and yellowing of the pages. Illustrated. Good-Very Good condition. 24 pages. 5 3/4" X 8" $35.00 item # 278

Forward March of America - Exhibit of the Electric Utilities at the World's Fair. Compliments of Atlantic City Electric Company. From the 1939-1940 New York World's Fair. Pictures, and text, about the history of Electricity, and the impact electricity has on people's lives. My father can remember when they tossed the "pole" out in his front yard, when he was a boy, and electrified his home just before WW II. 17 pages. 7 x 10 inches. General Motor's Futurama Exhibit at the 1939-40 New York Word's Fair brochure and postcard. The first three pictures are of the brochure. 22 pages, 7 x 8 inches. Black and white pictures show the miniature models of the world of the future, and GM's part in the future. The last photo is of GM's transparent car 3 1/2 x 5 inches., The brochure is in good condition, only light soiling and edge and corner wear. The postcard I am just including as a free item as it does have some paper loss where it was glued into an album. $16.50 item #5665

Coke Soda Fountain photographs from the 1940 Golden Gate International Exposition in San Francisco, California. Coca - Cola - The Pause that Refreshes - Thirst Asks Nothing More. Two 8 x 10 black and white photos. Both stamped on back "Gabriel Moulin Studios October 7, 1939 153 Kearny St. S.F. Calif. Official Photographers G.G.I.E. Treasure Island. Both have a few light scratches, a few  creases, and slight edge and corner wear. But still very suitable for framing,  and original. from the Exposition. 1964-65 New York World's Fair coloring book 15 pages, 11 x 14 pages. Has not been colored in. Great colorable cartoon views of people and animals at the fair. Some yellowing, creases on the spine, edge and corner wear. The third picture is an oversized postcard from the fair showing the Unisphere and reflecting pool. It has some creases and wear, so I just threw it in for free with the book. $15.50 item #5667
